Here’s our plan:

 

• Meet with parent and develop expectation outline.

 

• Meet with child and develop goal outline.

 

• Combine both into a goal and expectation sheet where the child has to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals in order to participate in the “ fun activities” associated with the group.

 

• Have respected individuals from the community come teach the boys classes in their area of expertise.

 

• Empower the male youth by teaching them independent living skills such as personal grooming and hygiene, cooking, gardening, plumbing, small engine repair, and job interview preparation.

 

• Have the boys take ownership in their community by participating in community service projects.
